Four Players Barcelona Are Targeting In The Winter Transfer Window

With the arrival of Xavi, Barcelona are looking to reinforce the squad by bringing in some players in the winter transfer window. Here's a look at some of the possible options : 

4. Denis Zakaria

The Swiss international is heavily liked by Barça as they continue to find a replacement for ageing Sergio Busquets. Zakaria will be out of contract in June 2022 and can start talking to other clubs from January. If he doesn't renew, the winter transfer window will be the German club's last chance to sell the player, who is valued at 27 million euros. The midfielder has 2 goals and 1 assist in 10 Bundesliga appearances this season.

3. Raheem Sterling 

Raheem Sterling is said to be a priority signing for Xavi in January, but the club's economic difficulties have lowered the chances of arrival of the Englishman. Sterling is open to a move to the Camp Nou, as he's not happy with his lack of game time in Manchester.

2. Arthur Cabral

Arthur Cabral, 23, is on Barça's radar in the winter transfer window. The FC Basel striker has an impressive 23 goals and 8 assists so far this season. According to SPORT, the Brazilian is in pole position to become the '9' that Barça seeks to reinforce the squad this winter. Cabral meets the profile that the technical secretary is looking for. While according to Mundo Deportivo, the starting price for the center forward would be between 8 and 10 million euros. 

1. Karim Adeyemi 

Barcelona have been linked with a move for Salzburg talent Karim Adeyemi according to Sport1 and Diario AS. Xavi is said to be determined to bring the talented attacker to Camp Nou, although he could cost the Catalan club about €40m. The 19-year old German has registered 15 goals and 2 assists for the Austrian club this season. Although a move in January is looking unrealistic, but one never knows.
