Arthur Cabral: The next Lewandowski?

Barcelona were recently linked with Arthur Cabral as an option up front. The brazilian hitman could cost around 15 million.  Something which Barcelona have great problems in paying, gone are the days when that idiot Bartomeu used to spend 30 million on players not good enough for Barcelona B.  However, I believe it is a risk worth taking rather than bringing in some old striker like Cavani. Firsty, looking a bit at his profile, Cabral is an all round number 9.  He has decent pace, he is really strong, he is a good presser, has decent link up and can hold up the ball and is very good aerially too. If we compare him with Lewandowski, there arent many differences.  As you can see, they are basically the same players, with Cabral being better Aerially and pressing wise and Lewandoswki edging it in Passing Accuraccy.  Cabral has banged in 25 goals and 8 assists in just 25 games this season and altough it is in the Swiss League, it still is a really good r

Joan Laporta Wants Erling Haaland

Since Laporta's first term as Barca president, it is a well-known fact that he has good relations with a lot of agents, Mino Raiola being the one who stands out among the rest. Mino Raiola, who already made it easier for Barca to sign then target Zlatan Ibrahimovic is now looking to make it easier for Barca to sign superstar Erling Haaland. Laporta was in Italy to witness Pedri win his Golden Boy award, while he was there he also met with super-agent Mino Raiola over a potential summer signing, Erling Haaland. Laporta has been looking for ways to finance this move for months, ever since he got elected as president he wanted to get a superstar and Haaland fits the profile perfectly. He would be a leader in the team even though he is only 21, he would be older than most of the current Barca players, undoubtedly having more experience than them. He has played a total of 73 games since joining Borussia Dortmund, scoring a staggering 74 goals in the process. He only missed 25 games thro

A Look At Barcelona's Potential Summer Signings

It looks like FC Barcelona are going to have a very busy 2022 as they have been looking at a lot of players to potentially join the club in the summer transfer window. Here's a look at some potential signings: And ré Onana The former La Masia goalkeeper (25) who was banned by UEFA for violating doping rules has been linked to pretty much every big club in Europe. Now he is linked with Barca, (again) who want to get him on a free in the summer of 2022, he fits the profile needed for a Barca keeper and could also provide some much-needed competition to Ter Stegen or maybe even replace him in the future. But according to many reports, he already has an agreement with Italian giants Inter Milan. But as he said in an interview in April of 2020 he could always return to Barca as he still considers it his home. There are many clubs in the race to sign him including Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Lyon, OGC Nice among many others but Barca and Inter Milan look like the

Dembele Transfer From Barca

Recently, many rumors are building up that Dembele wants to leave Fc Barcelona. The player still didn’t accept the renewal offer for Barca, the player has the will to stay but his agent is playing with his mind by saying that he can earn more money if he plays in another club. Barca made it pretty obvious that they would like to keep the Frenchman even after his poor seasons with Barca, but the contract talks didn’t go very well. In addition, after the arrival of Ferran Torres Dembele won’t have the place at the club anymore, which would really affect his chances on wether or not hold he get in the 2022 World cup. Xavi stated that “He can be the best in the world in his position”, despite his poor run with the club so far. Even after the coach confidence with the player, he still is not sure wether to renew or not and is free to negotiate with any club from the January 1st. If the player does decide to leave, the first in the line to get him would be Newcastle.

Barcelona Show Interest In Man United's Edinson Cavani

After a move to Manchester United in the summer of 2020, the former PSG striker had a surprisingly good start at United, scoring 10 goals in 26 games last season in the Premier League and 6 goals in 5 Europa League games. But things changed this summer when Cristiano Ronaldo joined the club, first, he lost his number 7 shirt to Cristiano, then he lost his place in the team to him. Now he currently has 1 goal in 5 Premier League games, another reason for his displacement as a starter this season are his injury woes, he has suffered 3 injuries so far, missing 11 games. Amid all the worries related to his situation, he has been linked to Barcelona. As per reports from ESPN, Barcelona has already held initial talks with Cavani, who wants to first see what Manchester United's new interim manager, Ralf Rangnick thinks about him before deciding on his future. It is also interesting to see along with Cavani there is another striker who ends his contact at the end of

Barcelona open to selling Memphis Depay amidst interest from Juventus and Roma

It is a no brainer that Memphis Depay was the most exciting prospect of the summer transfer window at the Camp Nou. But the 27 year old has failed to live upto expectations so far. Although the Dutchman has netted several goals for the Blaugrana, his lack of killer instinct in front of goal, something which the club has lacked ever since the departure of Luis Suarez and his inability to perform in big matches has raised some eyebrows at Camp Nou. Several Catalunyan media outlets have also reported that new coach Xavi Hernandez is not fully pleased with the ex Lyon man either.  Barcelona also have their eyes set on young Spaniard and Manchester City forward Ferran Torres. Add to that, talents like Ansu Fati and Yusuf Demir and one would expect nothing but flawless performances from Depay if he has to cement his place in the team. After Cristiano Ronaldo's departure to Manchester United, Juventus are looking to cash in on ex Old Trafford man Memphis Depay accor

Barcelona Looking To Offload Philippe Coutinho

After having subpar performances since the start of this season, Barcelona are looking to offload Philippe Coutinho in the January transfer window according to MD journalist Roger Torello                                          Ever since joining Barca in 2018, Philippe Coutinho has struggled in Blaugrana colors. After a positive loan spell in Bayern Munich.  He seemed to be ready to finally show why Barca paid a club-record €160 million for him in 2018. He came back having the faith of Ronald Koeman and for a few games he played well, but after what looked like him finally settling in, he got injured and lost his place to the 18-year-old wonderkid Pedri.  When he came back from his hamstring injury, he suffered another horrible injury, this time rupturing the meniscus on his left knee, which kept him out for the remainder of last season Since the start of this season, he looks lost, having bad performances for the most part, he scored a penalty and played arguably his best game so fa

Raheem Sterling's Move To Barcelona Complicated

Raheem Sterling (26) is one of the best wingers in the world right now. Known for his speed and crazy skills, the Englishman has had a fairly decent career so far. Under Pep Guardiola, Sterling has upgraded his game which was evident at the Euros. Raheem Sterling became the most expensive English player of all time when City signed him from Liverpool in 2015 and, as always with a big-money move, he did so amid high expectations. There were those who doubted whether he was worth the £49m fee, but his improvement and trophies won under Pep have ended debates over his value to one of the best teams in Premier League history. Barcelona were said to be heavily interested in Sterling and the player was also open to a move to the Camp Nou in the winter. A few weeks ago, a loan deal was said to be nearly completed. But recent reports suggest that the deal has now cooled down. Sterling is Barça's desired forward for the January transfer window, but his signing is almost ruled out due to his

Barcelona Interest In César Azpilicueta

Day by day, the rumors of Barcelona wanting César Azpilicueta is increasing. The 32 years old Spanish footballer contract ends next summer with Chelsea and he isn’t interested in renewing his contract.  Barcelona are already starting to work on their squad for next season, filling up the missing puzzle pieces, Azpilicueta would be a perfect Free agent player for the squad who doesn’t have the budget to buy players.  Barcelona need to work on their right side. Xavi is not really well convinced with Dest and is looking for some replacements especially after the denture of Emerson who left the club 3 weeks after he was bought. Barcelona realizes that getting the player would be a tough mission to complete despite his age. Though, despite his age, the player is still quality. The player is in perfect shape and came in the 29TH position in the Ballon D’or. The player can work as a right back and  can also work as a central defender which would offer a lot to the club defense. Barcelona Kno

Ferran Torres Edges Closer to FC Barcelona

With Barca's heavy interest in Manchester City winger Ferran Torres, the saga continues with new reports emerging every day.  According to ffpolo and edupolo, there is not much difference between City's demnads and Barcelona's offer for the winger. Also, no loan is included in the offer, it would be a direct transfer.  Unless any roadblock comes in the way, Ferran Torres should be in blue and red come January.  The environment of the player believes the deal could be closed around 45 million euros, as per esport3. Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola was asked about this potential transfer of Ferran Torres to Barca. Here's what he had to say about it, "It's not my job to comment on this, you know . You have to call Txiki, or Ferran Torres' agent, or Barça. I have always said to my players: don't stay here if you don't want to be at the club." Pep Guardiola also said, "You have to go to Txiki or the agent of Ferrán, or Barça, I’m not the
